ACLS students must make an 84% or better on the required Pre-Test.

You can use the code found in your ACLS provider manual or enter the code: ACLS15  in order to start the free pre-test. Participants must score an 84% or better in order to attend our 1 day class.

ACLS is an advanced, instructor-led classroom course that highlights the importance of team dynamics and communication, systems of care and immediate post-cardiac-arrest care. It also covers airway management and related pharmacology. This course is designed for healthcare professionals who either direct or participate in the management of cardiopulmonary arrest and other cardiovascular emergencies. This includes personnel in emergency response, emergency medicine, intensive care and critical care units.

The AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support Course (ACLS) is intended for Healthcare workers who direct or participate during the resuscitation of a patient.  The course emphasizes the importance of good CPR to patient survival, the integration of effective basic life support with advanced cardiovascular life support interventions, and the importance of effective team interaction and communications during resuscitation.


Audience: Healthcare providers such as physicians, nurses, emergency medical technicians, paramedics, respiratory therapist, and other professionals who may respond to a cardiovascular emergency.


Students must be able to identify basic ECG rhythms prior to attending ACLS. The American Heart Association offers the Basic ECG Course for students who wish to develop or strengthen their interpretation skills prior to attending ACLS. This self-directed option called Learn: Rhythm Adult is available at OnlineAHA.Org.
